Description: Solengo is called wild boars that live alone in Tuscany, but this name was chosen because this wine stands out. Dark purple almost black in the glass. Long aromas of blackcurrant, dark berries, vanilla and violets. A tannic wine that can be drunk today, but has the potential to mature for decades. This is such a powerful wine that it goes well with game but is also enjoyed alone or paired with beef, lamb, pork and strong cheeses.
Alcohol content: 14.5% per vol.
Grading:
James Suckling 95 points
Robert Parker 93 points
Vivino 4.3 out of 5
