Description: The 2018 vintage of this wine was chosen as the wine of the year 2023 by Winespectator.com. An exceptionally delicious wine that smells of cherries and strawberries. Long fruity taste, spicy, tobacco and oak. Few things can top a good Brunello but here a great producer and a great vintage come together. It's almost a shame to drink this right away as this wine will keep its lightness for decades. Stands well on its own in a glass but this is such a powerful wine that it pairs well with all Italian food, meat and game.
